Music Ministry
Under the leadership of Gary Garletts, the APC Music Ministry includes choir opportunities for all ages.
- Chancel Choir, volunteer adult singers with professional section leadership, sings in worship weekly (September-May) and presents semi-annual cantatas. They rehearse Thursdays at 7:30 p.m. (Room 104).
- Handbell Choir for adults rehearses Wednesdays, 7 p.m. (Room 104) and plays occasionally in worship.
- Youth Choir (grades 6-12) sings periodically in worship and rehearses Sundays from 11:45 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. (Rm. 104).
- Children's Choir (grades 2-5) sings periodically, and Cherub Choir (grades Pre-Kindergarten - lst grade") sings occasionally in worship. These choirs rehearse during "Wednesday PLUS."
- Men's and Women's Choruses give those who cannot regularly commit to choir an opportunity to sing. Each group sings twice a year, as announced.
- APC also hosts occasional Choral Services, Hymn Festivals and Concerts featuring both APC and guest choirs, organists, pianists, or instrumental ensembles.
