Godthink: finding God in a Diverse World
Join us for this eight-week session exploring the major religions of today's world. We will examine the central problem, goals and practices of five different religions as well as non-religious world views such as materialsim and atheism.
Huston's Smiths The World's Religions, advances the idea of "one God many pathes." Stephen Prothero's recent God is Not One, rejects that notion station that the differences between the world's religions are not only substantial, but truly matter in developng meaningul dialog between them. How do we, as Christians, reconcile our faith with the desire to be accepting of other perspectives about God? We will look at the various theological approaches as well as the sctiptural response to a world of many beliefs. Led by Bruce Kozak and Nan Clarke. Meets in the Mill Creek Room (childcare available).

Sunday Night Live!
A small group study of Paul's letter to the Romans will continue on April 21. When there has been reformation or revolution inthe church, we ofter find Romans at the center. Paul challenges us to discover a life centered on Jesus Christ. We discover a new way t o relate to God, to each other and to the world around us. The topics are timely and current, but the study is nor for the faint-hearted. We will wrestle together. Godd converstation, laughter, and your questions are always encouraged.

LORD OF OUR ASSETS, LORD OF OUR DEBTS
Jesus' Teaching on Money and Possessions
Sunday Evening Small Group Bible Study
Jesus' teachings, as recorded in the Gospels, are full of directions to his disciples about how they are to respond to the money and possessions they are entrusted with. Over seven Sunday evenings, beginning on Sunday, April 7th, we will seek the Holy Spirit's guidance as we wrestle with these teachings, some of which challenge our contemporary understandings of wise money mangement. Jesus is Lord over what we earn, what we spend, what we give, what we save, what we inherit, what we invest, and what we owe. Focusing primarily on narratives and parables from Matthew and Luke, our goal will be to increase our understanding of God's claim upon our financial resources and the financial freeedom we enjoy when our possessions are directed towards God's glory. Meetings will be held in the library on Sunday evenings from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m.
